Directory and Table Assignments

The Fall Festival is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to all the new students entering UCSC for Fall 2008 in a fun and festive atmosphere. UCSC Dining Services provides dinner on the field, there is live music, student performances, a portable rock climbing wall, and the best view of the Monterey Bay! All the UCSC community is welcome - student groups and organizations, recreation and sports clubs, fraternities and sororities, health and wellness classes and services, academic resource offices, environmental groups, student media, ethnic resource centers, and more!

This event is funded in part by Measure 26.

The following groups are registered and will have a table & two chairs provided:

Tables will be set up and you can begin arriving at 1:00pm. There will be parking attendants at the entrance to the East Field House service road, and you must have a Fall Festival Special Event pass to drive in and drop off materials. These passes are e-mailed to registered Fall Festival participants (listed below).
Service road CLOSES at 2:30pm.

Reduce, reuse, and recycle ..... this is a ZERO WASTE EVENT!


 
Here's what was accomplished last year at the 2007 Fall Festival:
  • 5 recycling stations set up by Food Services
  • 4 recycling stations set up by OPERS and Recycling Services
  • 200 pounds of pre consumer food scraps were collected at the production kitchen at Cowell and sent to the PICA site.
  • 1000 pounds of post consumer food scraps and compostables were collected at the Fall Festival and sent to College 8 gardens and various campus sites for use by ground crews
  • 82 pounds of aluminum cans and 38 pounds of plastic bottles were collected at the Fall Festival and taken to a recycling center by the Student Environment Center (SEC).
